Dr. Argan Wekesa holds PhD in Applied Statistics (Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Master of Science in Finance (Kenyatta University), Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Science (University of Nairobi) and He is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya, a Certified Investment and Financial Analyst and a Certified Credit Professional. Dr. Wekesa brings to the firm wealth of experience having worked as an Accountant, Financial Analyst and Data Analyst for over 18 years. His main strength is the ability to solve complex problems that require superior analytical capability. He has served as a trainer in financial modelling, financial risk management and derivatives trading. Currently, he serves as Senior Lecturer in Quantitative Finance at the Co-operative University of Kenya and Resource Person for Investor Education at the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya. Dr. Wekesa has published numerous scholarly works in the area of Finance and Statistics. He serves as an peer reviewer with the journal of Applied Statistics, UK and Far East Journal of Theoretical Mathematics, India. As a form of service to the global community, Dr. Wekesa is a volunteer Faculty adviser with the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
