Job Description

Grohney AAA LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our growing team in Nairobi. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will lead complex audit engagements for our top-tier clients, manage client relationships, and mentor junior team members. You will be responsible for ensuring audit quality, managing project timelines, and identifying business development opportunities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in audit management, excellent technical knowledge, and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise audit engagements for complex clients across various industries
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Review audit working papers and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with international auditing standards and firm methodologies
- Manage engagement economics, including budgeting and resource allocation
- Mentor and develop junior staff members
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities
- Contribute to the firm's thought leadership initiatives
- Coordinate with other service lines to provide comprehensive solutions to clients

Requirements

- Minimum 8 years of audit experience, with at least 3 years at manager level
- Extensive experience managing audit engagements for large and complex clients
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and ISA
- Excellent project management and team leadership skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

- CPA (Kenya) or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration (preferred)
- ACCA qualification (preferred)
