Grohney AAA LLP is seeking a Risk Advisory Consultant to join our growing Risk Advisory team. In this role, you will help clients identify, assess, and mitigate business risks through effective risk management frameworks, internal controls, and governance processes. You will work with clients across various industries to enhance their risk management capabilities, strengthen internal controls, and improve operational efficiency. - Conduct risk assessments and control evaluations for clients- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and methodologies- Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements- Assist with SOX compliance and internal audit engagements- Perform operational and compliance reviews- Develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients- Support business continuity and crisis management planning- Collaborate with other service lines on integrated engagements- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices
- 3-5 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or similar roles- Knowledge of risk management frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000, etc.)- Experience with internal controls assessment and design- Understanding of governance, risk, and compliance principles- Experience with operational risk management- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent report writing and presentation abilities- Good project management skills- Ability to work with clients at various organizational levels- Industry knowledge in financial services, technology, or manufacturing (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CRMA, or equivalent- Risk management or internal audit certifications (an advantage)- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
