Job Description

Grohney AAA LLP is looking for an IT Audit Specialist to join our Risk Advisory team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing IT audits, evaluating IT controls, and providing recommendations to improve clients' technology governance and security posture. You will work with clients across various industries to assess their IT systems, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Responsibilities

- Plan and execute IT audits and assessments
- Evaluate IT general controls and application controls
- Assess cybersecurity frameworks and controls
- Review IT governance structures and processes
- Perform IT risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
- Evaluate data privacy controls and compliance
- Prepare detailed IT audit reports and recommendations
- Present findings to clients and management
- Collaborate with financial audit teams on integrated audits
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and IT audit methodologies

Requirements

- 3-5 years of experience in IT audit, preferably in a professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL)
- Experience with cybersecurity standards and practices
- Understanding of data analytics and audit tools
- Familiarity with ERP systems and business applications
- Experience with cloud security and controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and report writing abilities
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent
- Additional certifications in cybersecurity or IT governance (an advantage)
- Knowledge of relevant regulations (GDPR, DPA, etc.)
