Job Description

Grohney AAA LLP is seeking an ESG Consultant to join our growing Sustainability Services team. In this role, you will help clients navigate the evolving ESG landscape, develop sustainability strategies, and implement effective reporting frameworks. You will work with organizations across various sectors to identify ESG risks and opportunities, conduct materiality assessments, and develop roadmaps for sustainable business practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working at the intersection of business and sustainability.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients in developing comprehensive ESG strategies
- Conduct ESG materiality assessments and gap analyses
- Help clients implement sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD)
- Perform ESG due diligence for transactions
- Develop climate risk assessments and decarbonization strategies
- Advise on sustainable finance and green investment opportunities
- Create ESG metrics and performance indicators
- Prepare sustainability reports and disclosures
- Keep clients informed about evolving ESG regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other service lines on integrated client solutions

Requirements

- 3-5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG consulting, or related fields
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and standards
- Understanding of climate change risks and mitigation strategies
- Experience with ESG data collection and analysis
- Familiarity with sustainable finance principles
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Project management experience
- Ability to build client relationships and manage stakeholders

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field
- Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or similar (preferred)
- Professional certifications in sustainability or ESG (GRI, SASB, etc.)
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
