Grohney AAA LLP is offering a Data Analytics Internship opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in applying data science to accounting and advisory services. As a Data Analytics Intern, you will work with our Data & Analytics team to support client engagements across audit, tax, and advisory. You will help collect, clean, and analyze data, create visualizations, and assist in developing analytical models. This internship provides hands-on experience in a professional environment and the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals.
- Assist in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes- Clean and prepare data for analysis- Create data visualizations and dashboards- Support the development of analytical models and algorithms- Help automate routine data processing tasks- Assist in preparing reports and presentations- Contribute to process improvement initiatives- Participate in team meetings and learning sessions- Document processes and findings- Support various client engagements as needed
- Strong academic background in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields- Basic understanding of data analytics concepts and techniques- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, R, SQL)- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills- Attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work in a team environment- Eagerness to learn and grow- Good communication skills- Basic understanding of accounting concepts (preferred)
- Current student or recent graduate (within the last 12 months) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Accounting, or related field- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent- Coursework in data analytics, statistics, or programming
